No globes: A smog-filled snow globe that highlights climate change by Dorothy.
I don’t know how I do it, but I’ve been balancing school work and becoming the next Pokemon Champion. And if I still have spare time, I make food stuff and earn money. Yeah.
Last week, I found my old Pokemon Sapphire version, and ever since I started my quest to be the next CHAMPION. Cue music.
It’s silly but I’m talking about a cartridge for a Game Boy Advance SP:)) I know, I know. I’m so old school. No offense, but I really don’t like the new Pokemon. Sorry. So I’m stuck playing an old video game. So what? I like Blaziken and I have this weird obsession of making him evolve from Torchic to Blaziken WAAAAAY before he fights May for the first time. Yeah, I’m weird- err, cool like that >:)
AND it’s a real tough job, training Pokemon, collecting berries (and forever waiting for them to actually start producing leaves or something :-| Hmph..), trying to get your weak Pokemon to evolve, catching a lot of Zigzagoons so you can get a lot of Rare Candies too, and a lot of grueling tasks that only involve my thumb and a lot of sheer will power to keep going.
And do you know what Finn the Human/Adventurer, Dora the explorer and Brendan the Pokemon Trainer all have in common? The never ending backpack. All super awesome kids who go on adventures without adult supervision aren’t complete without it. I’m not sure if it’s the backpack I want or the freedom these guys have. Hmm..
Anyway, I’ve been baking and cooking. A lot actually. And I’ve been selling it at school. It was tiring at first, considering that cooking and baking are two things I love doing. But yeah, if I can “earn” from it? Why not start a small business out of it, right? It’s not much, but I like what I do. Although, it turns out it isn’t all that easy, the whole starting the food biz.
It isn’t the baking or the cooking or the waking up early that’s so difficult. It’s coming up with a label. Sheesh, and I thought that was easy. It has to be catchy, it has something to do with the product blah blah blah. Gosh. At least I had fun trying to think of names with my siblings the other day. Sindac kids brainstorming. Ha… ha.
Ehem.
So yeah. I’ve got a SOOPER busy week next week. Actually, it starts on Sunday.
Sunday I’ve got a field trip to Mt. Banahaw. Monday I’ve got an exam in Physics :-| Tuesday I’ve got an exam in Intfilo :(( Wednesday I’ve got this ECO Amazing Race I have to attend for bonus points instead of staying at home >:| Thursday I’ve got loads to bake. Friday I’m not sure. Saturday I’ve got a debut I want to attend.
So yeah. To fully enjoy life one must overcome obstacles. Here I go. Overcoming… obstacles :))
Oh, dear Lord :))

Yeah. The moment’s been killed..
I’ve been on an emotional roller coaster, and it’s unfair how life always ALWAYS hits you when you least expect it. It’s like getting punched in the face when you’re walking down the street- you don’t know what hits you.
Last week was basically me baking cupcakes, or what I believe was the ultimate cupcake. Until I forgot how I was able to make it (so, so stupid. Made it twice and never bothered to write down the recipe :-|) Big ASS bummer…
I also got into a one day “fight” with Carlos 1/2 of my dude best friends in college. Horrible. He wouldn’t talk to me, and I wouldn’t even try. God. Guys are so weird.
I attended a friend’s birthday party, and guess what? My effin’ camera broke. Literally, broke. God, what is wrong with me? Breaking stuff. I don’t know what to do:( I need it so much, especially since summer is coming up and I’ll be meeting my godchild for the first time. I will kick someone in the face if it isn’t fixed by that time. Seriously:(
We had a Taco dinner last Sunday, and a taco isn’t a taco without the beef. So I just died. Seriously. Everybody was tilting their heads sideways, eating the taco way, while I had to crush up my taco shells and mix it with onion, tomato and lettuce. Seriously :-| It tasted good, but it could’ve tasted better.
My super close friend/anak’s lolo passed away last Tuesday. It was horrible. I had to comfort her last Monday and seeing her cry was heartbreaking. Here was a granddaughter that loved, loved, LOVED her lolo so much. And this happens. And days before her birthday:( God. What the heck life?
I’ve also successfully(?) finished my Vegan Diet. I lost 10 pounds. It’s cool.
Although, I think the meat I had for breakfast made me lose my psychic powers. It reminded me of the line from Scott Pilgrim:
“No vegan diet- NO VEGAN POWERS!”
Oh god, no wonder I had a fail pail day. And I DON’T WANT to remember what kind of fail pail I went through today. God. And to think that it’s March 1. Sheesh, what a way to start the month.
It’s kind of sad though… I made a February edition of a list of things to do. I didn’t even get to do all the top 4 things on the list:
1. Be vegan-edge
2. Be a health buff
3. Make a thousand paper cranes
4. Go on an adventure
I really wanted to do a thousand paper cranes so I can end my February with an epic wish:-| I only got to 30. And the paper cranes I made during NSTP doesn’t even count. What is my life? Seriously. Seriously.
Anyway, I have class in… 5 minutes.
Getting hooked on He Is We. I also want to draw seriously again. Also started silk screening shirts.
Until the next emoticon.

In the middle of last week, I felt like a Tom Hansen- my reality failed to meet my expectations. From a really good start (see my awesome post from last week) to the Wednesday where things just went downhill.
Here’s a recap of last week. Ehem…
Monday! Went all girly in a dress and high heels. Helped a friend. Confessed to a guy.
Tuesday! Valentine’s Day. My bro’s bday. LEAP class with Ramon Bautista (who was also my date for V-day >:) I kid, I kid:)) He was, sort off). Ramon Bautista also followed me on twitter.
Wednesday! Single Awareness Day. Had to cancel my Single Awareness party with my beffie :(( because a stupid crayon exploded in the dryer with the load of whites and uniforms. Manually washed EVERYTHING. Fingers bled.
Thursday! Got a 5 second conversation with KPOP lookalike that went like this,
Guy: Hey, where are you going? Me: Oh, I’m watching a play. Guy: Okay. Bye. Me: See you.
Died a bit. And then watched Rivalry: Ateneo- La Salle The Musical (ohoho, “smells like overkill team spirit”) with my sister and a bunch of her Atenean friends. Ha.
Friday! Parents didn’t allow me to watch SMASH PROJECT 2012… I cried. Watched Princess Mononoke when I got home from school.
Saturday! NSTP. Taught kids about Science and Art. Planted monggo seeds. Painted whatever. Ran out of money and baby wipes.
Sunday! Watched Haring Lear at PETA. It was so AWESOME. (Gosh. The Philippine musical industry id going strong). Also KPOP lookalike sat beside me during the second half of the play. Hehe. Got “lost” going to Gateway. Ate Cha Soba and Miso Soup for lunch at Teriyaki Boy. Watched Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance with my family. Visited the grandparents. Ate kamote fries, which I fried by the way.
So yeah. I don’t know what I’ve been doing for the past few days. Been drinking coffee or cocoa to sustain myself. Had my share of fail pail days and basically my week hasn’t been all that.
Although, I did get that Storm Trooper canvas bag from YUKIMAKESTHINGS :D The highlight of my week. Bought it for 400 bucks and basically running out of moolah for what’s left of my week. Was worth it though (she was so nice :D and is environment- friendly)!
Will be waking up early tomorrow to make foodstuff to sell. I need all the extra cash I can pull in. Whoo. I can do this.
Oh gaaaahhh. I wish I could end this with a >:) but for now I will end my blog with a
